In a heartwarming display of musical solidarity, the Dave Matthews Band has announced a star-studded benefit concert to aid those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The event, aptly named "Soulshine," is set to take place on November 24 at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The concert will feature an impressive lineup of artists joining forces to support relief and recovery efforts in Western North Carolina and Florida. Alongside the Dave Matthews Band, attendees can look forward to performances by Warren Haynes Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Goose. The evening will be further enhanced by special guest appearances from renowned musicians such as Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, and many others.

Warren Haynes, a native of Asheville, North Carolina, expressed his deep connection to the cause, stating, "The damage and destruction caused by Hurricane Helene to my beloved home of Asheville and all of Western North Carolina has truly devastated me." Haynes emphasized the importance of coming together to support the affected communities.

Tickets for this charitable event will be available through various presales, with general ticket sales beginning on November 1 at 10 a.m. ET. The organizers have announced that net proceeds from the concert will benefit the Soulshine Concert Fund at the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. This fund will support Habitat for Humanity's 2024 Hurricane Recovery fund and various non-profit organizations working on the ground in North Carolina and Florida.

In a show of corporate support, Newrez, a prominent mortgage lender and servicer, has pledged $500,000 to assist communities in their recovery and rebuilding efforts following the hurricanes.

The Soulshine benefit concert stands as a testament to the power of music in bringing people together for a common cause, offering hope and support to those affected by natural disasters.
