Rap icon Eminem has officially become a grandfather after his daughter Hailie Jade McClintock gave birth to her first child, a baby boy named Elliot Marshall McClintock.

The 29-year-old Hailie announced the arrival of her son on Instagram, revealing he was born on March 14, three weeks ahead of his due date. The newborn's middle name pays special tribute to his famous grandfather, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

In her social media post, Hailie shared photos of baby Elliot wearing a blue knit sweater, alongside a placard displaying his name and birth date. "Happy due date//3 weeks earthside little e," she wrote in the caption.

The pregnancy was first revealed in Eminem's music video for "Temporary" featuring Skylar Grey, which captured the touching moment when Hailie surprised her father with a Detroit Lions jersey labeled "Grandpa" and showed him her sonogram. The video showcased intimate family footage, including clips of Hailie growing up and scenes from her recent wedding.

Family members have shared their joy over the new addition. Eminem's half-brother Nathan commented that the new parents would be "amazing" and that "Elliot will have the best uncle and grandpa." Alaina Marie Scott, Hailie's sister and Eminem's adopted niece, praised the new mother's natural transition into parenthood.

The baby's arrival comes shortly after Hailie and Evan McClintock's wedding in Battle Creek, Michigan, earlier this year. The couple, who met as students at Michigan State University, tied the knot after eight years together.

This milestone marks a new chapter for the Grammy-winning rapper's family, as he steps into his role as grandfather to little Elliot Marshall McClintock.
