Grammy-winning singer Michael Bolton has announced the cancellation of his upcoming concert at London's O2 Arena, scheduled for July 5, 2025, as he continues to recover from brain surgery.
The 71-year-old artist shared the update with fans on Instagram, expressing his disappointment while emphasizing his ongoing healing process. "You all know how much I was looking forward to this show but I am continuing to heal from surgery," Bolton wrote. All tickets for the London performance, which was set to feature special guest Bonnie Tyler, will be automatically refunded.
This announcement follows Bolton's revelation in January 2024 that he had undergone emergency brain surgery after doctors discovered a tumor in late 2023. The "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" singer has maintained an optimistic outlook throughout his treatment, crediting his medical team for a successful surgery.
Since his diagnosis, Bolton has temporarily stepped away from touring to focus on his recovery. In October, he acknowledged the challenges of his healing journey, noting that while his progress has been positive, he needs additional time to rebuild his strength and stamina.
Despite the setbacks, Bolton has kept fans updated on his progress and shared moments of joy, including a heartwarming holiday photo with his family in December. The singer expressed gratitude for his supporters, writing, "I am so grateful to have the most supportive fans in the world."
Bolton continues to recuperate at home surrounded by family as he works toward his eventual return to the stage.
