Rock icon Patti Smith has announced an international tour celebrating the 50th anniversary of her groundbreaking debut album 'Horses.' The punk poet laureate will perform the influential 1975 record in its entirety during each show of the tour.

The anniversary trek begins October 6 at Dublin's 3Arena before making stops across Europe including Madrid, London, Brussels, Oslo, and Paris. The U.S. leg kicks off November 10 at Seattle's Paramount Theatre and includes performances in major cities like Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Philadelphia.

Smith will be joined by original 'Horses' band members Lenny Kaye on guitar and Jay Dee Daugherty on drums. The lineup also features longtime collaborator Tony Shanahan on keyboards and bass, along with Smith's son Jackson on guitar.

Released in 1975 and produced by The Velvet Underground's John Cale, 'Horses' has earned numerous accolades over the decades. The Library of Congress added it to the National Recording Registry, and in 2021, the album was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.

This marks the first time in 20 years that Smith will perform 'Horses' in its complete form. She previously revisited the album during London's 2005 Meltdown Festival for its 30th anniversary.

Before the tour, fans can catch "People Have the Power: Celebrating the Music of Patti Smith" at New York's Carnegie Hall on March 26. The tribute concert features performances by Michael Stipe, Kim Gordon, Karen O, and other notable artists.

Tickets go on sale February 14, with a pre-sale beginning February 12. The tour concludes November 29 in Philadelphia at the Met.
