The White Stripes are set to commemorate the 20th anniversary of their fifth studio album 'Get Behind Me Satan' with an expansive reissue package through Third Man Records' Vault subscription service.

Named 'Get Behind Me Satan XX,' the anniversary collection features previously unreleased material spread across multiple formats, including songwriting demos, alternate studio takes, and live recordings from the band's 2005 tours.

The package includes two vinyl LPs - with disc one pressed on opaque red vinyl and disc two on white vinyl - containing Jack White's early songwriting demos and standout live performances from across five continents. A special 7-inch single features rare rehearsal recordings, including the elusive track "Spitting Tacks," which never made it onto any official release.

The collection also contains a Blu-ray disc featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the band's 2005 Central and South American tour, captured by photographer David James Swanson. An archival booklet completes the package, featuring photos, concert posters, and comprehensive tour information.

Originally released in 2005, 'Get Behind Me Satan' marked a departure from the band's previous guitar-heavy sound, incorporating instruments like mandolin, tympani, hand bells, and marimba. While some initially misinterpreted it as a break-up album or commentary on fame, Jack White has described the record as being focused on truth.

The demos provide insight into White's creative process, showcasing early versions of songs like "I'm Slowly Turning Into You" and "Over And Over And Over." Some of these tracks wouldn't see official release for over a decade after their initial recording.

Fans interested in obtaining this anniversary collection must subscribe to Third Man Records' Vault service before January 31, 2025, at midnight Central Time.
