Pop-punk legends Blink-182 have revealed plans for their "Missionary Impossible" tour across the United States in 2025, with alt-punk veterans Alkaline Trio joining as special guests.
The 20-city tour, produced by Live Nation, kicks off August 28 in Hollywood, Florida, and concludes October 4 in Palm Desert, California. The tour name playfully references the Mission Impossible film franchise, staying true to the band's trademark humor.
The announcement comes on the heels of Blink-182's successful 2023 album "One More Time..." which dominated charts and attracted widespread acclaim from longtime fans. The band has maintained their position as one of rock's premier acts through sold-out stadium tours worldwide.
The tour's special guest, Alkaline Trio, adds an interesting dynamic to the lineup. The band's frontman Matt Skiba previously served as a member of Blink-182, performing alongside Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker during Tom DeLonge's hiatus from the group.
Beyond the main tour dates, Blink-182 will headline two nights at the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas on October 18-19.
Tickets for the Missionary Impossible tour go on sale Friday, April 11, at 10 am local time. The tour includes stops at major venues across the country, including Credit One Stadium in Charleston, T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, and the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento.
The announcement coincides with the release of Mark Hoppus's memoir "Fahrenheit-182," which chronicles his journey from desert kid to punk rock icon, including his successful battle with cancer and ongoing experiences with anxiety.
