Rock legend Bruce Springsteen has announced the upcoming release of "Tracks II: The Lost Albums," an extensive collection featuring 83 previously unreleased tracks spread across seven complete albums. The box set, scheduled for release on June 27 through Sony Music, spans 35 years of The Boss's home recordings from 1983 to 2018.

The collection includes the raw "LA Garage Sessions '83," bridging the gap between "Nebraska" and "Born in the U.S.A.," alongside the experimental "Streets of Philadelphia Sessions," which showcases Springsteen's work with drum loops and synthesizers.

Among the unreleased albums is "Somewhere North of Nashville," featuring country-influenced tracks like "Repo Man" and "Tiger Rose." The collection also includes "Inyo," an album rich with border-themed narratives, and "Twilight Hours," which embraces orchestral arrangements with a noir feel.

"The Lost Albums were full records, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released," Springsteen explained. "I've played this music to myself and often close friends for years now. I'm glad you'll finally get a chance to hear them."

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Springsteen completed the final touches on these vault recordings. Of the 83 tracks included, 82 are completely new to listeners, with 74 never heard in any version.

The box set will be available in multiple formats, including a 9-LP set, 7-CD collection, and digital release. Each format includes a 100-page hardcover book featuring rare photos, detailed liner notes by Erik Flannigan, and a personal introduction from Springsteen himself.

A preview track, "Rain in the River" from the album "Perfect World," has been released, offering fans their first taste of this historic collection. A condensed 20-track compilation titled "Lost and Found: Selections From The Lost Albums" will also be available on the same release date.
