Legendary rock band Jethro Tull is set to release their 24th studio album, 'Curious Ruminant', on March 7 through InsideOut Music, accompanied by an animated music video for the title track.

The new album features nine tracks that embrace the band's iconic 1970s sound, including the ambitious 17-minute epic "Drink From The Same Well." While not following a concept album format like their recent releases "The Zealot Gene" (2002) and "RökFlöte" (2023), the new record promises to deliver the band's characteristic progressive rock style.

"Here we go again," says frontman Ian Anderson. "Have I said that before? Life in old dogs and with a little introspective rumination."

The album brings together both past and present members of the band, featuring contributions from former keyboardist Andrew Giddings and drummer James Duncan, alongside current members David Goodier, John O'Hara, and Scott Hammond. The recording marks guitarist Jack Clark's studio debut with Jethro Tull.

The title track's music video was created by digital animator Costin Chioreanu, who previously worked on the band's "Ginnungagap" video from their "RökFlöte" album.

'Curious Ruminant' will be available in multiple formats, including a limited deluxe ultra-clear 180g 2LP + 2CD + Blu-ray artbook edition. The deluxe versions will contain alternative stereo mixes, Dolby Atmos and 5.1 Surround Sound mixes by Bruce Soord of The Pineapple Thief, and exclusive interview content. Fans can also choose from standard CD digipak, gatefold 180g LP, and digital formats, with the latter available in both stereo and Dolby Atmos.
