Kendrick Lamar has achieved his first UK number one single with "Not Like Us," his controversial diss track aimed at Drake, nine months after its initial release. The song's ascent to the top spot follows Lamar's record-breaking Super Bowl halftime show performance earlier this month.

The track garnered 6.4 million streams in the UK over the past week, making it the country's most-streamed song. The success comes amid an ongoing feud between the two rap superstars, with Drake currently pursuing legal action against their shared record label Universal for defamation and harassment over the song's content.

Lamar's dominance extends beyond just one hit - his collaborations with SZA, "Luther" and "All The Stars," have both re-entered the UK top five. Meanwhile, Drake has made his own chart impact with three songs from his Valentine's Day release with PARTYNEXTDOOR, "$ome $exy $ongs 4 U," entering the top 40.

In the US, Lamar's momentum continues as he became the first rapper to simultaneously place three albums in the Billboard top 10. His latest album "GNX" reached number one, while "DAMN." and "good kid, m.A.A.d city" secured positions at nine and ten respectively.

The chart success follows Lamar's impressive showing at the Grammy Awards, where he collected five awards including record and song of the year for "Not Like Us." His Super Bowl performance drew an unprecedented 133.5 million viewers, setting a new record for halftime show viewership.
