Rock legend Ozzy Osbourne has revealed he will perform only selected parts with Black Sabbath during their final concert in Birmingham this July, citing health concerns.

The 76-year-old Prince of Darkness made the announcement on his SiriusXM show 'Ozzy Speaks', stating, "I'm not planning on doing a set with Black Sabbath but I am doing little bits and pieces with them. I am doing what I can, where I feel comfortable."

The farewell show, titled 'Back To The Beginning', will take place at Villa Park stadium in Osbourne's hometown of Birmingham, England. The event features an impressive lineup including Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, and numerous other metal heavyweights.

Osbourne, who hasn't performed a full show in six years, continues to manage multiple health challenges, including Parkinson's disease and ongoing neck and spinal issues. Despite these obstacles, he remains determined to participate in the historic event.

His wife Sharon Osbourne shared that the rock icon is "overwhelmed" by the support from fellow musicians. The concert will be curated by Tom Morello of Rage Against The Machine and includes special appearances from artists like Billy Corgan, Slash, and Fred Durst.

The event serves a charitable purpose, with proceeds benefiting Cure Parkinson's, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Acorn Children's Hospice. While Osbourne acknowledges the physical demands ahead, he maintains an optimistic outlook, stating, "I'm not dead. I'm still actively doing things."

This farewell performance marks a poignant return to where it all began for Black Sabbath, celebrating the band's legacy in the city that birthed heavy metal.
