Legendary art-pop duo Sparks have unveiled their latest single "Do Things My Own Way" alongside announcing their upcoming album "MAD!" and a world tour spanning multiple continents.
The new track, described by brothers Ron and Russell Mael as "our mantra since 1972, amplified in 2025," showcases the band's distinctive sound, blending urgent energy with their characteristic genre-defying approach.
"MAD!" will be released through their new label home, Transgressive Records, marking the quick follow-up to their 2023 album "The Girl Is Crying In Her Latte." While the exact release date remains under wraps, fans can expect the new record to drop this year.
The band's upcoming tour kicks off in Japan with four shows between June 8-13, followed by UK performances in London, Manchester, and Glasgow from June 18-24. The European leg concludes in Milan on July 8.
Ticket sales for UK and European shows begin February 7 at 9am GMT, while Japanese concert tickets will be available from February 22. The band has also hinted at additional dates, including North American shows, to be announced soon.
This latest announcement continues Sparks' remarkable creative streak, with the duo showing no signs of slowing down after over five decades in the music industry.
