British singer FKA Twigs has announced the cancellation of her upcoming North American tour dates due to visa processing complications. The artist, whose legal name is Tahliah Barnett, revealed in a social media video that her production team failed to submit the required visa paperwork on time.

The cancelled shows include performances scheduled in Chicago on March 26-27, Toronto on March 31, and New York on April 3-4. While the visa issues specifically affect her U.S. entry, the Toronto show was also cancelled due to logistical routing challenges.

"I'm completely devastated and heartbroken," the singer expressed in her announcement. "Today, I was informed that production did not fill out the correct paperwork in a timely manner for us to have our visas to come to the USA and perform."

The 37-year-old artist, who has been touring in Europe to promote her latest album "Eusexua" released in January, has not performed in the United States since 2019. She emphasized her strong connection to American audiences, describing the U.S. as "a home away from home."

The affected shows have been rescheduled, with Chicago performances moved to June 24-25 and New York dates shifted to April 23-24. New dates for the Toronto shows will be announced soon. Her planned appearances at Coachella Festival and scheduled performances in San Francisco and Mexico City remain unaffected.

The singer promised to investigate the circumstances that led to the visa complications and assured fans she would return "harder and stronger than ever." Despite the setback, FKA Twigs remains committed to bringing her "Eusexua" tour experience to North American audiences.
