Canadian indie rock band Arcade Fire has announced their highly anticipated new album 'Pink Elephant' will release on May 9, 2025. The band shared the news exclusively through their fan club app, along with a new single titled 'Year of the Snake.'
Band members Win Butler and Régine Chassagne made the announcement via the Circle of Trust app, where they also premiered a radio mix. The upcoming album follows their 2022 release 'We.'
"This is Win and Regime from Arcade Fire. Our new record is called 'Pink Elephant' and it's out on May 9. Keep it here inside the Circle of Trust. Take care of each other," the band stated in their announcement.
The duo added a personal message to fans: "Thank you for spending a little time with us – I know time is the one thing you can't buy, so quit your job, call your best friend. It's a season of change, and if you feel strange, it's probably good."
The album announcement comes shortly after the band released another single 'Cars And Telephones' with an accompanying music video through their app on April 4.
Both new singles, 'Year of the Snake' and 'Cars And Telephones,' are currently available exclusively to fan club members through the Circle of Trust app.
