Progressive metal titans Dream Theater have announced their highly anticipated 16th studio album, 'Parasomnia', set for release on February 7, 2025, through InsideOut Music. The band has also dropped the album's lead single, "Night Terror," a sprawling 10-minute prog-metal masterpiece that showcases their signature technical prowess.
'Parasomnia' marks a significant milestone for Dream Theater, as it reunites the classic lineup of James LaBrie (vocals), John Petrucci (guitar), John Myung (bass), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), and Mike Portnoy (drums) for the first time since 2009's 'Black Clouds & Silver Linings'. Fans have eagerly awaited this reunion, and the new album promises to deliver on the band's reputation for musical complexity and virtuosity.
