Pop superstar Lady Gaga has officially announced her seventh studio album 'Mayhem,' set to release on March 7 through Interscope Records. The 14-track album marks her first full-length pop record since 2020's 'Chromatica.'

The album features previously released singles "Disease" and "Die With a Smile," the latter featuring Bruno Mars. A third single and music video are scheduled to premiere during the Grammy Awards broadcast on February 2.

In discussing the creative process behind 'Mayhem,' Gaga revealed personal insights about returning to her pop roots. "The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved," she said. She described the experience as "reassembling a shattered mirror," noting that even imperfect pieces can create "something beautiful and whole in its own new way."

The album was executive produced by Gaga herself alongside Andrew Watt and her fiancé Michael Polansky. Additional production credits include Cirkut and Gesaffelstein, with Gaga expressing enthusiasm about exploring industrial and electronic music elements.

While the complete track list remains under wraps, Gaga has teased fans with distorted graphics on social media. The album is currently available for pre-order, building anticipation among her dedicated fanbase, known as "Little Monsters."

'Mayhem' follows Gaga's 2024 concept album 'Harlequin,' which accompanied her role in "Joker: Folie à Deux." The new release promises to showcase the 13-time Grammy winner's return to the pop genre that launched her career.
