Pop superstar Lady Gaga's upcoming track "Garden of Eden" has been selected as ESPN's official anthem for the 2025 Formula 1 racing season. The announcement came Wednesday as ESPN unveiled a dramatic montage featuring F1's top drivers paired with a preview of the pulsating new song.

"Garden of Eden" will be released March 7 as part of Gaga's highly anticipated new album "Mayhem." The track showcases Gaga's return to her dance-pop roots, featuring euphoric synthesizers and an infectious beat underneath lyrics like "Go get your friends and meet me on the floor" and "Take you to the Garden of Eden."

ESPN plans to incorporate additional music from "Mayhem" throughout the F1 season, which kicks off March 14 with the Louis Vuitton Grand Prix in Australia. The 2025 season promises excitement with six rookie drivers joining the grid and seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton making his debut with Ferrari.

The anthem selection adds to an already momentous year for Lady Gaga, who recently announced her ¡Viva La Mayhem! concert in Mexico City and a beachside show in Rio de Janeiro this April. She is also set to headline Coachella 2025.

"Mayhem" marks Gaga's seventh studio album and her first release in four years. The album has already spawned multiple hits, including "Die With a Smile" - her chart-topping collaboration with Bruno Mars - along with singles "Disease" and "Abracadabra."

Speaking to The Los Angeles Times, Gaga described the new album as "properly pop" while noting it "leaps around genre in a way that's almost corrupt." The 14-time Grammy winner's latest musical venture now adds high-octane motorsport to her diverse portfolio of artistic pursuits.
