Canadian progressive metal powerhouse Spiritbox has revealed their highly anticipated sophomore album 'Tsunami Sea,' scheduled for release on March 7, 2025, through Pale Chord and Rise Records.
The band marked the announcement by releasing a new single "Perfect Soul," accompanied by a haunting music video directed by Dylan Hryciuk of Versa Films. Set in an abandoned oceanside hospital, the video features frontwoman Courtney LaPlante in an ethereal setting, surrounded by ghostly figures and mysterious creatures.
'Tsunami Sea,' produced by Dan Braunstein and Mike Stringer, follows the band's breakout debut album 'Eternal Blue.' The new record comprises 11 tracks, including the previously released single "Soft Spine," which garnered praise for its intense sound and dynamic composition.
The announcement comes during a remarkable period for Spiritbox, who recently received their second Grammy nomination for Best Metal Performance with their track "Cellar Door" from their 2023 EP 'The Fear of Fear.'
Looking ahead to 2025, Spiritbox will embark on a headline European tour, beginning February 13 at London's Alexandra Palace. The band will also join the newly-reunited Linkin Park on their world tour, with performances scheduled across Italy, Netherlands, and the UK.
