Two disturbing videos have emerged showing tense confrontations between AS I LAY DYING frontman Tim Lambesis and his wife Dany, adding new dimensions to recent controversies surrounding the metal band's lineup changes.
In the first silent video captured by a nightstand camera, Lambesis appears to lunge at his wife and grab her face before turning to strike himself. A second video with audio shows him flipping a table during another altercation. When Dany attempts to leave the room, Lambesis blocks her path and begins punching himself while reportedly saying "just love me."
These revelations come just weeks after all members of AS I LAY DYING, including longtime guitarist Phil Sgrosso, announced their departure from the band. Their exit statements pointed to Lambesis as the main catalyst for the split.
Last month, Dany Lambesis took to Instagram to address circulating allegations about domestic violence. In her statement, she firmly denied any abuse had occurred, calling the claims "completely false" and maintaining that while they faced typical relationship challenges, no incidents of domestic violence had taken place.
"It deeply saddens me that I find myself having to publicly explain my personal life because of flat out lies," Dany wrote, requesting privacy and asking people to stop spreading what she termed "harmful rumors."
The emergence of these videos has reignited discussions about the band's recent breakup and raised questions about the relationship dynamics between the metal frontman and his wife.
