LCD Soundsystem have revealed plans for a new US tour in 2025, marking their return to multi-city touring after recent years of residency shows. The band will perform 10 shows across five cities, bringing their signature electronic rock sound to audiences nationwide.
The tour begins with a festival appearance in Phoenix before moving to headlining shows in San Diego, Austin, Dallas, New Orleans, and Atlanta. Several cities will host multiple performances, with Austin featuring three nights and Dallas, New Orleans, and Atlanta each hosting two-night runs.
Supporting acts Nation of Language and Gustaf will join LCD Soundsystem on select dates throughout the tour.
Ticket sales begin with an artist pre-sale on January 28 at 10 a.m. local time, followed by general public sales on January 31 at 10 a.m. local time.
The tour announcement comes as the band, led by James Murphy, continues work on their highly anticipated new album. The group recently shared a preview of their upcoming material with the track "X-Ray Eyes," which debuted unexpectedly on NTS Radio before appearing on the band's website. The forthcoming album will be their first release since 2017 and only their second since their brief "retirement" in 2011.
Following their US dates, LCD Soundsystem will head to Europe for several festival appearances, including Primavera Sound Barcelona in June.
