In a historic moment Paul McCartney delivered an unforgettable finale to his Got Back Tour at London's O2 Arena on Thursday night, bringing together rock royalty as both Ringo Starr and the Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood made surprise appearances on stage.

The historic evening saw McCartney reunite with his former Beatles bandmate Starr during the show's encore. After announcing "the mighty, the one and only Mr. Ringo Starr," the legendary drummer took his place behind the kit for powerful renditions of Beatles classic songs "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" and "Helter Skelter."

Following their performance, Starr addressed the crowd warmly, saying "I've had a great night. It's fantastic, playing with me old mate," before making his exit with his trademark peace signs raised high.

Earlier in the evening, Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood joined McCartney for a rendition of "Get Back." The performance was made even more special as McCartney played his original bass guitar, which had been returned to him this year after being missing for five decades.

The London show marked McCartney's final performance of 2024, capping off a tour that began in October in Uruguay. The Got Back Tour has featured several memorable moments, including the live debut of the Beatles' "Now and Then" and collaborations with contemporary artists like Jack White and St. Vincent.

As the sole surviving members of the Beatles, McCartney and Starr maintain a close relationship, occasionally performing together and supporting each other's endeavors. Their musical partnership spans over 60 years, dating back to their early days in Liverpool.
