Grammy-winning metal band System of a Down has unveiled plans for a massive stadium tour across South America in spring 2025, marking their return to the continent with seven high-profile shows.
The "Wake Up!" tour will launch on April 24 at Estadio Nemesio Camacho El Campin in Bogota, Colombia, before making its way through major cities in Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Brazil. The tour concludes with a grand finale at São Paulo's Allianz Parque on May 10.
In response to persistent fan demand, the band released a statement saying, "Wake up, South America! We did. We heard you. We're coming."
The announcement follows the band's recent expansion of their tour, which features supporting acts like Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, and Deftones. Opening acts for the South American leg have not yet been announced.
Ticket sales begin with a pre-sale on December 17 at 10 a.m. local time (8 a.m. for Peru), followed by general public sales on December 19 at 12 p.m. local time.
